Call for Papers

IJCIR, a bi-annual, African-based (Makerere University) International Journal of Computing and ICT Research (IJCIR). (ISSN: 1818-1139 (Print), ISSN: 19961065 (Online)), now in its eighth  volume, invites papers for its coming volume 8 Issue 2 devoted on general scientific applications intended to help humanity.

In addition, IJCIR invites papers for its future publications from all areas of computing sciences, technology and application including:

  • Computer Science,
  • Computer Engineering,
  • Software Engineering,
  • Information Systems,
  • Data Communications and Computer Networks,
  • Security of Computing Systems
  • ICT for Sustainable Development,
  • Science and Technology Application in development
  • Mobile Computing and other related areas.

We publish original works from international scholars from across the globe. We also strive to publish African original works of the highest quality that embraces basic information communication technologies (ICTs) that will not only offer significant contributions to scientific research, innovation and development but also take into account local development contexts. IJCIR publishes two issues per year: June and December of each year and occasional special issues. We plan to devote the coming two years on the following themes: Broadband availability and development, Mobile money ecosystems and inclusion, Youth technology infrastructure development and the potential for innovation and others.
